It is estimated that you lose 4% of your flexibility every 10 years! Think about that for a second.... At 20, you can touch your toes, at 30 you can touch your shins, at 40, you can touch midway to your knee, at 50, you can touch your knee, and 60 you can touch mid thigh. No wonder so many mature individuals have back issues.
There are 24 hours in a day. 8 hours a day (on average), you are working, 8 of those hours, you are sleeping. So, I am sure, you can take 4 minutes a day, to stretch. Each day, chose one main muscle to stretch (say your quads), hold each stretch for 60 seconds and release, then do the other side. Repeat that twice.
Why wait until you are a senior citizen to think, gosh....I wish I would have taken better care of myself when I was younger.
This is your tip of the day from me. I hope it help.
