If you are in Texas, humidity and heat go hand and hand in the summer. If the temperature is high, you have on the rubber suit to lose weight, the humidity is high and all you have had to drink is a gatorade while doing your 3 mile walk or run, you are putting yourself at risk for heat injury, heat exhaustion or possibly a stroke!
Tip of the Day:
Workout....but if it is hot outside and the humidity is high, please drink your water and get a great workout in the house. If you have stairs, you can run up and down the stair. Put on some music and just dance. Pull out the jumprope and jump. Grab the kids hola hoop and get a workout. There are so many ways you can be safe and burn calories in your air conditioned residence.
